Carlo is the infamous setting for the yearly climax of the EPT
event, and where more setting than the town of the rich and famous.
The 2011 event is scheduled to take place from the 25th April
to the 31st, so book your tickets early ;)
You
can qualify for the EPT final via Full
Tilt who run "Winners Choice" tournaments every
weekend. These give you a prize of $16,000 to cover the cost of
the EPT Final tournament buy in, plus flights and accomodation

EPT final in 2010, season 6 was the year for 23-year old Nicolas
Chouity from Lebanon who took down the €10,600 Main Event, collecting
€1,700,000 in first place prize money from a total prize pool
of €8,480,000.
IThe
EPT final in 2009,season 5, the 6 day European Poker Tour event,
with a buy-in of €10,600 was the most lucrative poker event to
date to have ever been held outside of Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
The total prize pool was €9.35 million, with Dutch National Pieter
de Korver winning a cool first prize of €2.3million, pipping a
total of 935 other players to the victory.
